One month letter!!!!!

Dear AnnaLynne,

You are one month old sweet baby girl!!! I can't believe how fast time has flown by. It feels like just yesterday we were in the hospital.  Mommy wants you to stop getting big so fast, I wish I could freeze time!! Mommy is slightly behind on this post but that's okay. This past month you have really grown a lot. You are out of some of your newborn clothes and some others  are getting tight. I just love watching all the things that you are doing.
You had a lot of firsts during this month. We have taken you out to eat a couple of times with friends and family, you have been down to the beach and even out of state to Pennsylvania for your cousins 8th birthday. Lots of adventures for one little girl.

Daddy and I are having so much fun watching you with all of  your stretches and yawns, they take up your whole face. Every once in awhile we even get a smile out of you. Your not sleeping as much as you were in the beginning but at least now we get to see your beautiful blue eyes. (Mommy and daddy hope that they stay blue). You definitely want to be held more but that's okay too because soon enough you won't want to be held. Mommy just loves cuddling with you.

We are definitely figuring out now what you like and dislike. You love being held and talked to. I guess you get that from mommy:) You are getting better at having your diaper changed, not as many freak outs when we have to take your clothes off. You enjoy riding in the car and stroller. We have taken many walks and car rides. When it comes to eating, you are an amazing eater. Mommy is having a hard time keeping up, you have even eaten the frozen stash.

I really want to slow time down, and keep you little forever!! You are truly the most wonderful baby and we love you so very much!!! Try not to grow up too fast my little "blueberry."

Love,
Mommy

Oh Hey, Friday!!

I'm very happy that it is Friday!! Here's to a weekend with both my loves. Normally I would be dreading another summer day down come August, but I'm actually not worrying since I will still be on maternity leave come September!!!

ONE
AnnaLynne and I had a lot of outings this week. The weather has been really nice which has allowed us to go outside and be busy. We had a great lunch out yesterday with my friend Jenn and her daughter Caroline. We ate outside and really enjoyed ourselves. AnnaLynne slept the entire time. We are hoping for more outings soon.

TWO
Selfies!!! I was never really interested in selfies, but AnnaLynne and I have done two this week. With Tom going back to work we wanted to send him some photos of the two of us. Hopefully soon she will be smiling in the pictures as well:)

THREE
We have spent some of the days this week shopping and looking for some pants for this little one. I seem to have tons of onesies but no pants to go with them. My mom and I set out on a couple days to find  some new pants for this girl. We did find some which now allows her to wear some of the cute onesies that she has.

FOUR
Snacks!! I am absolutely loving this snack of Wheat Thins and Philadelphia garden vegetable cream cheese. I had this at my friend Meghan's a couple of weeks ago and then had to go out and buy it for myself. If you haven't tried this snack yet, I highly recommend it!!! What snacks do you like?

FIVE
Weekend time!! I can't wait to spend the weekend with my little munchkin and Tom!!! The weekends are the best because we get to spend them together.

I'm linking  up with The Farmer's Wife and September Farm for " Oh Hey, Friday!"

AnnaLynne Mary Pfister

So I haven't been on here in awhile. Things have been pretty eventful here at our house. We would like to announce the newest member of our family
AnnaLynne Mary Pfister!!!
She arrived on July 24, 2014 at 5:48 pm. She is by far the most wonderful thing that has happened to our lives. AnnaLynne  is such a wonderful baby and we are really cherishing every minute with her.  We have truly been blessed by this amazing baby. I will try to update more often now that she is here. I can't believe tomorrow she will be three weeks old. It is crazy how quickly time is flying by!!! I just want to keep her little forever!! Well I have to go back to my sweet little one, but I will be back soon.

39 Weeks!!!

How Many Weeks: 39 Weeks!!!
Total weight gain: I went to the doctor today and no weight gain.
Maternity clothes: Still wearing lots of skirts and dresses, they are certainly the most comfortable.
Stretch marks: Just the two that I found earlier. I have switched though to this new Belly Balm.
Sleep: The past couple nights I have been sleeping rather well. Still getting up to go to the bathroom, but that is not as frequent either.
Best moment of this week: Pretty good week so far, nothing really exciting happening. I guess the news of not necessarily getting induced was exciting. Have to wait to see what happens. Let's hope this little one just makes an appearance on her own.
Miss anything: Not really missing too much this week.
Food cravings: Nothing
Anything making you queasy or sick: Fishy smells.
Have you started to show yet: Yes, still all belly.
Gender: Sweet baby GIRL!!!
Movement: She moves a lot.
Labor signs: Definitely feeling those Braxton Hicks contractions!!! They occur more and more often now.
Nursery: All finished pictures to come!!! I absolutely love it. It couldn't be prettier.
Belly button in or out: Half and Half
Wedding rings on or off: Off, due to my joints and swollen fingers.
Happy or moody most of the time: Overall very happy!! Just waiting for this little one to arrive.
Looking forward to: Meeting this little one!!!

38 Weeks!!!

How Many Weeks: 38 Weeks!!! Counting down the days.
Total weight gain: I went to the doctor on Wednesday, so a total of 20 lbs.
Maternity clothes: Mostly maternity. Lots of dresses, it is just the easiest and most comfortable.
Stretch marks: I just found 2!! I was not a happy camper, but I'm still using Burt's Bees Mama Bee Belly Butter here
Sleep: Sleep comes and goes depending on the night. Some nights are definitely better than others, but I guess this is just my body getting ready for those sleepless nights.
Best moment of this week: This week was my last visit to the sugar doctor. Everything went well and baby is looking great. They are estimating she is weighing about 7 lbs. She was so cute up on the ultrasound screen just moving away. Can't wait to actually see her in person.
Miss anything: Not really missing too much this week. I know it is not that much longer and soon I will be back to eating things I haven't had in awhile.
Food cravings: Nothing
Anything making you queasy or sick: Fishy smells.
Have you started to show yet: Yes, at least it is all just belly. Hopefully it won't be too hard to take off the pounds once she arrives.
Gender: Sweet baby GIRL!!!
Movement: She moves a lot. Luckily she does not keep me up at night. I hear that can really be difficult when you are trying to sleep.
Labor signs: Definitely feeling those Braxton Hicks contractions!!! They were actually really strong on Monday and we thought maybe it was time, but they went away after a couple hours. The doctor says though due to the diabetes if she doesn't come by the 27th, I will have to be induced on the 28th. So we know she is coming sometime soon.
Nursery: All finished except for the curtain that Tom is going to hang.
Belly button in or out: Half and Half
Wedding rings on or off: Off, due to my joints and swollen fingers.
Happy or moody most of the time: Overall very happy!! I just can't wait to meet this little "Blueberry."
 Looking forward to: Baby coming!!!

36 Weeks!!!

How Many Weeks: 36 Weeks!! 4 weeks left.
Total weight gain: I went to the doctor on Tuesday and gained 2 pounds. So a total of 17 pounds.
Maternity clothes: Yes, still mixing it up though where I can between maternity and non maternity.
Stretch marks: Not a one!! Thanks to Burt's Bees Mama Bee Belly Butter here
Sleep: I still get up between 2 and 3 times to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, but overall I sleep pretty well.
Best moment of this week: On Monday I went to the doctor to have my sugars checked and it is always great because I get to see the baby on the ultrasounds. She was moving away in there and it was neat to see her heart beating, her lungs and she was even sticking her tongue out!! I can't wait to meet this little "Blueberry!!!" We also got to go down the shore on Saturday to visit some friends and go to the beach in Asbury Park which was very nice. 4th of July itself was pretty rainy so we went bowling with friends.
Miss anything: I miss those summer drinks. Luckily I don't have too much longer to wait.
Food cravings: I've been doing well with my sugars and monitoring what I can and can't eat.
Anything making you queasy or sick: The smell of tuna fish makes my stomach turn a little.

Gender: All Girl!!!
Movement: All the time!! She is currently kicking me as I am typing!!
Labor signs: Nothing yet, doctor says though due to the diabetes she wants me to deliver in July. So if she doesn't come by the 27th, I will have to be induced.
Nursery: Getting there.
Belly button in or out: Half and Half
Wedding rings on or off: Off, this week my joints started to hurt in my left hand and my ring finger was a little swollen, so I chose to keep them off.
Happy or moody most of the time: Overall very happy!! So far the summer break has been nice and eventful and I'm really looking forward to the baby arriving!!
Looking forward to: On Monday I'm going with my friends from work up to Amy's Lake House, which should be beautiful. I love hanging out with these girls and it will be nice to get away before the baby comes.

** I'm a bit behind on the weeks so I posted below a picture from 35 weeks and currently I'm going into week 37 which will be updated this week.

Sleep: I have been up a lot more during the night the past week. I guess my body is getting ready for those long sleepless nights.
Best moment of this week: This is my last week of work since school will be out for the summer. I'm excited to be home for awhile and not have to start back up in September. As of right now, I don't need to go back until December. It will be nice to be home with the baby and do some fun things in the Fall.
Miss anything: I sometimes miss a summer cocktail when everyone else is having one, but soon I will be able to enjoy one again.

Food cravings: I've been doing well with my sugars and monitoring what I can and can't eat.

Labor signs: No!! Let's keep it that way for a little bit longer.
Nursery: Almost finished.
Belly button in or out: Half and Half
Wedding rings on or off: On
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy!!! I am really enjoying being pregnant. The only thing I'm hating is the heat and humidity and so are my feet. They have swollen up quite a bit, but the doctor said it is fine, it is just from the weather.
Looking forward to: I'm looking forward to being out of work and just relaxing some before she comes. I still have some things I want finished around the house.
