38 Weeks!!!

How Many Weeks: 38 Weeks!!! Counting down the days.
Total weight gain: I went to the doctor on Wednesday, so a total of 20 lbs.
Maternity clothes: Mostly maternity. Lots of dresses, it is just the easiest and most comfortable.
Stretch marks: I just found 2!! I was not a happy camper, but I'm still using Burt's Bees Mama Bee Belly Butter here
Sleep: Sleep comes and goes depending on the night. Some nights are definitely better than others, but I guess this is just my body getting ready for those sleepless nights.
Best moment of this week: This week was my last visit to the sugar doctor. Everything went well and baby is looking great. They are estimating she is weighing about 7 lbs. She was so cute up on the ultrasound screen just moving away. Can't wait to actually see her in person.
Miss anything: Not really missing too much this week. I know it is not that much longer and soon I will be back to eating things I haven't had in awhile.
Food cravings: Nothing
Anything making you queasy or sick: Fishy smells.
Have you started to show yet: Yes, at least it is all just belly. Hopefully it won't be too hard to take off the pounds once she arrives.
Gender: Sweet baby GIRL!!!
Movement: She moves a lot. Luckily she does not keep me up at night. I hear that can really be difficult when you are trying to sleep.
Labor signs: Definitely feeling those Braxton Hicks contractions!!! They were actually really strong on Monday and we thought maybe it was time, but they went away after a couple hours. The doctor says though due to the diabetes if she doesn't come by the 27th, I will have to be induced on the 28th. So we know she is coming sometime soon.
Nursery: All finished except for the curtain that Tom is going to hang.
Belly button in or out: Half and Half
Wedding rings on or off: Off, due to my joints and swollen fingers.
Happy or moody most of the time: Overall very happy!! I just can't wait to meet this little "Blueberry."
 Looking forward to: Baby coming!!!

  1. Hang in there! The swelling should go down as soon as she is born. I was crazy swollen with Matthew and could only wear flip flops for months. I can't wait to see pictures of your baby girl!
