How Many Weeks: 29 Weeks!! Size of a butternut squash. She is growing like crazy!!!
Total weight gain: So far only the 11 pounds that the doctor told me last week at my appointment
Maternity clothes: Oh yes!!! The spring weather is here which is nice. I am enjoying the lighter layers and the spring wardrobe.
Stretch marks: Not a one!! Thanks to Burt's Bees Mama Bee Belly Butter here
Sleep: Sleep has been improving. I guess I have been tired lately which has made falling asleep a bit easier.
Best moment of this week: We celebrated Mother's Day this past Sunday 5/11. It was an absolutely gorgeous day. Tom and I had breakfast with his mom and dad which was very nice and enjoyable. Then we headed up to my moms where we celebrated with my moms family which was also very nice. My mom had prepared a feast for all of us. It was so fun seeing all the kids and playing outside. I can't wait for the "blueberry" to join in on all the fun next year. She is going to have so much fun running around with all the other ones. When we got home I had a wonderful surprise at the front door. There were roses from the "blueberry," and they are just beautiful and so colorful.
Food cravings: Still wanting that Italian sub.
Anything making you queasy or sick: no
Have you started to show yet: Yes, she is growing.
Gender: GIRL!!
Movement: The "blueberry" is moving around all the time. She is extremely active. She moves a lot after meals.
Labor signs: no!!
Nursery: The nursery looks wonderful. We haven't done much in the past couple weeks. Still waiting on some things and I have to work on some of the decorations that are going to be going up on the walls.
Belly button in or out: Half and Half
Wedding rings on or off: On
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy!!! I am really enjoying being pregnant. Although this week I was a bit bummed when my results came back from the glucose test and I failed. I guess it is all the carbs and fruit that I eat. Well unfortunately I have to meet with a different doctor on Wednesday, at least I have met with him before. This will allow me to find out what the next steps are and the diet changes I have to make. I will be honest though I am a bit scared and nervous.
Looking forward to: My shower is this coming Sunday!! I am so excited to celebrate with family and friends. My mom has been working so hard on everything and I can't wait to see how it all comes together.
That's a bummer about the glucose test! I'm so excited to celebrate with you on Sunday!
